Meet Seham

Born and bred in Pakistan, I took a leap of faith in 2015 when I moved to Canada to attend my dream university. Between the hikes, mountain views, lakes, and islands in British Columbia, I discovered my passion for travel.

As much as I enjoyed traveling with friends, I had a desire to venture out solo because of all the amazing experiences I had heard about from other female travelers.

That, coupled with the frustration of waiting for travel companions to join me, motivated me to finally become a solo traveler, much to the disapproval of my South Asian parents (iykyk!)

I have now been on several solo trips across Europe, Canada, USA, and MENA! My solo trips taught me not only core life skills but also the importance of setting boundaries and embracing my autonomy as an adult, as well as overcoming anxiety.

My mission

My mission is to normalize travel for women of colour, especially South Asian folks like myself.

I am also passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible environment, particularly for those that are afraid to travel due to anxiety and/or neurodivergence 💛

Siestey’s Goal

My goal is to guide and inspire women of color to unlock their inherent power to travel the world, by sharing my own travel stories, advice and insights.

I’m here to help you discover and unleash the strength that exists within you, by harnessing the power of community.
